The order journey
Seven steps, with the money and the days stated.
This is exactly what happens between your first message and the blouse in your hands — including what you pay, when you pay it, and what you can cancel. No step is a surprise.
Step 1
You enquire
Costs nothing
Send a WhatsApp message, walk into the studio, or — best of all — fill the customization brief with your reference photos, occasion and budget. The more we know, the sharper the quote.
Step 2
We reply with a written quote and a date
Within 1 working day
Not “depends, madam”. A price, what has to change to fit your budget, and the delivery date — in writing, on WhatsApp. If your date is not honestly possible at your tier, we say so now, not later.
Step 3
Payment in full books the frame
The full quoted amount
Your order is confirmed once payment is received. It reserves your frame days and buys the material. Nothing is cut and nothing is bought until you pay.
Step 4
Daylight photo of your fabric, before we start
Before a single stitch
Silk, velvet and zari read differently on a phone screen. We photograph the actual fabric and thread in natural light and send it to you — so colour surprises happen now, while they still cost nothing to fix.
Step 5
On the frame
7–10 · 15–21 · 25–35 · 35–45 working days by tier
Normal work takes 7–10 working days, medium 15–21, heavy 25–35 and bridal 35–45. The fabric is stretched on the adda frame and the chain stitch begins. Hand work cannot be rushed past a point, and we do not pretend otherwise.
Step 6
Progress photos, then finished photos before dispatch
At least twice on the frame, plus the finished set
You see the yoke taking shape and the stone-setting in progress. If something looks off to you, this is when we correct it — not after delivery. When it comes off the frame we send finished photos, front and back — the back is where hand work proves itself.
Step 7
Insured courier, or collect from the studio
3–5 days after dispatch, at actuals
Insured courier anywhere in India, usually 3–5 days, charged at actuals. Within Chennai you can collect from the T. Nagar studio — and for heavy bridal we recommend a final fitting here.
Change your mind? Full refund — until we cut.
You can cancel for a full refund any time before the fabric is cut or the embroidery begins. Once cutting or embroidery has begun the payment is not refundable, because the material and the frame days are already consumed. That is the whole policy — no processing fees, no fine print.
