Shipping & delivery

Finished pieces are pressed, wrapped in muslin, boxed rigid and dispatched by insured courier. We photograph every blouse immediately before packing and send you that photo with the tracking number on WhatsApp, so what left the studio is on record.

• Transit time: 3–5 days after dispatch to most Indian pincodes; remote pincodes can take 6–8 days. The courier's tracking is shared the day the parcel leaves.
• Cost: charged at actuals — the courier's real invoice amount, confirmed on your quote before you pay anything. We do not mark up shipping and we do not build it into the blouse price. Typical range is ₹150–450 depending on weight and distance; a heavy bridal blouse in a rigid box costs more to send than a light one, and you'll see the exact figure in writing.
• Insurance: every parcel is insured for the full order value at our cost. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged in transit, we remake or repair the piece at no charge — that risk is ours, not yours.

India only, for now. We do not ship internationally — hand-embroidered pieces with metal work need a fitting and an easy alteration path, and we can't honestly promise either across a border. If you are ordering for someone in India from abroad, that works fine: we deliver to the Indian address and coordinate with the wearer on WhatsApp.

Collect free from the studio at T. Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600017. We'll message you the moment the piece is ready, and we recommend pickup for heavy bridal orders — you can try the blouse on at the studio and we handle any small adjustment on the spot rather than by courier.

Dispatch happens once the piece is finished and your payment has cleared (see Payments). The delivery window printed on each product card is making time and excludes courier transit, so a piece confirmed today is typically in your hands in that window plus 3–5 courier days. We state the full in-hand date in writing on your quote, and that is the date we hold ourselves to.

• Parcel visibly damaged on arrival? Refuse it or accept with a note, photograph the box before opening, and WhatsApp us the photos the same day. The insurance claim is our job, not yours — we start the remake or repair immediately, in parallel.
• Tracking stalled for more than 3 days? Message us; we chase the courier from our end and keep you updated daily until it moves.
